Copy your Calcumate (original) calculators into Calcumate3D

You can copy your existing Calcumate (original) calculators into the Calcumate3D builder, so you don’t have to set them up again. This copies calculators, not your plan. You need an active Calcumate3D subscription, and you can run it as often as you like.

Copying doesn’t touch your website. Your Calcumate (original) calculators keep working until you replace the embed code (see Switching from Calcumate (original)).

Go to My Calcumate, the list of your Calcumate (original) calculators.

  • Migrate all to 3D at the top of the list copies every calculator. It opens a “Migrate all calculators to 3D?” dialog with an optional checkbox: “Also re-migrate the N already migrated (this discards edits made in the 3D builder)”.
  • Migrate to 3D on a single calculator’s card copies just that one, in one click.
  • Once copied, a card shows “Migrated to 3D on · Open in 3D”. Its button becomes Migrate again (replaces the 3D version) and asks you to confirm first (“Migrate again?”).
  • Some older calculators can only be copied with Migrate all to 3D.

The buttons are greyed out while a copy is running and when you don’t have an active Calcumate3D subscription.

Your locations always stay linked between a Calcumate (original) calculator and its 3D copy.

  • On My Calcumate, a progress panel above the cards shows “Migrating to 3D…”, a progress bar and the status of each calculator: Pending, Migrating…, Migrated, Re-migrated, Skipped or Failed. When the copy ends, the panel shows “Migration complete”, “Migration finished with errors” or “Migration failed” with the reason.
  • On every other dashboard page, a slim banner shows the same copy: “Copying your Calcumate (original) calculators to 3D: 3 of 7.” When it ends, the banner shows one of “Your Calcumate (original) calculators are now in 3D.”, “N calculators couldn’t be copied. Contact support.” or “We couldn’t copy your calculators. We’ll retry next time you sign in.” You can close a finished banner.

You can leave the page or reload it. Progress tracking picks up again when you come back.

When you upgrade from Calcumate (original), the confirmation dialog includes Copy my Calcumate (original) calculators into 3D after the upgrade, ticked by default.

  • When the upgrade finishes, the copy starts on its own and the banner shows its progress.
  • If the upgrade finished after you closed the tab, the copy starts the next time you open My Account or the 3D Calculators list, as long as you left the box ticked.
  • The automatic copy never overwrites anything. It is skipped if a full copy has already run or is running, or if you copied calculators before (unless the last full copy failed).
  • You can always copy or re-copy by hand from My Calcumate afterwards.
