Step 6: Confirm and publish
The Confirm step checks that the calculator is ready, shows a summary, gives you the embed code and lets you publish.
Readiness checklist
Section titled “Readiness checklist”At the top of the step you see either a green “Configuration looks good!” box or an amber “Almost there” box listing what is missing. Each missing item has a Go to step link that takes you to the right place.
The checks are:
- A calculator name is set.
- A domain is set and is a valid domain, for example
www.yourwebsite.com. - If a CTA URL is set, it is a full URL including
https://. - At least one storage unit exists.
Categories, presets and design are not required to publish. They always have defaults.
Summary
Section titled “Summary”A table shows the calculator name, storage type, number of units, number of items enabled in the catalog, presets, font and domain, so you can spot anything you forgot at a glance.
Publish Calculator
Section titled “Publish Calculator”The button is enabled once the checklist is clear. Publishing confirms the calculator is complete and returns you to your calculators list.
Changes you make later are live as soon as they are saved. You do not need to publish again after editing, and the embed code stays the same.
Embed Code
Section titled “Embed Code”The embed code is a small block of HTML that loads your calculator on your website. It is generated once the calculator exists, so if you see “Save your calculator first to generate an embed code”, go back to Options and press Next.
If more than one variant is offered, pick the one that matches your platform.
| Variant | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Standard embed | Any website where you can paste HTML into a page or a custom HTML block |
| WordPress full-bleed | A WordPress site where you want the calculator to span the full width of the page |
| Wix | A Wix site, pasted into an HTML embed element |
A short note under the code explains anything specific to the selected variant.
- The copy button copies the code to your clipboard.
- The refresh button regenerates the code. Use it if the code failed to load.
Installing the embed code on your website
Section titled “Installing the embed code on your website”-
Open the page on your website where the calculator should appear. Using a page with plenty of width and height works best, since the calculator renders a 3D scene.
-
Paste the embed code into the page’s HTML where the calculator should sit. On most site builders this is an “HTML”, “Custom code” or “Embed” block:
Platform Where to paste WordPress A Custom HTML block, or the HTML widget of your page builder. Use a full-width section if your theme offers one. Wix Add Elements → Embed Code → Embed HTML. Pick the Wix variant of the code and drag the element to about 720px tall. Squarespace A Code block. If the block removes the <script>line, paste that line under Settings → Advanced → Code Injection → Footer instead.Framer An Embed element set to HTML. Give it a fixed height in the inspector. Anything else Look for a block called HTML, Custom code or Embed. -
Save and publish the page.
-
Visit the page and confirm the calculator loads and the call to action opens your booking page.
The domain you entered on the Options step must match the website where the code is installed. If you also use the calculator on a staging or regional site, add it as the Additional domain.
For container sizing, platform notes and the attributes the embed code supports, see Embedding and sizing. If the calculator does not appear, see Troubleshooting.
