Advanced settings

Open the drawer with the Show Advanced Settings button at the bottom of the Options step. Changes made here are kept when you press Save at the bottom of the drawer. Save checks the fields and shows any error next to the field it belongs to. The changes are stored with the rest of the Options step the next time you press Next.

Use phone number instead of a URL. Turn this on to make the call-to-action button start a phone call instead of opening a page. A Phone number field replaces the URL field. Enter 7 to 20 digits, optionally with a leading +, spaces, dashes or parentheses. Turning the toggle back off clears the phone number and brings the URL field back.

URL. The same CTA URL as on the Options step, shown here for convenience. Full URL including https://.

Don’t redirect after CTA click. When on, clicking the call to action does not leave the page. Use this together with lead generation when you want to collect the visitor’s details without sending them elsewhere.

Allow the user to bookmark their result. Adds a button that lets visitors save or share a link to their result so they can come back to it later. When on, two more fields appear.

  • Which exact page will your calculator be on? The full URL of the page where you will embed the calculator, for example https://yourwebsite.com/space-calculator. The shared link points here.
  • Email recipients. Addresses that receive the visitor’s details. Type an address and press Enter or the plus button to add it. Click the cross on a tag to remove it. This is the same recipient list as for lead generation below.

The pencil icon next to the toggle opens the same Lead Generation Form editor described below.

Turn this on to ask visitors for their contact details inside the calculator. When on:

  • An email recipients field appears. Add the addresses that should receive each lead. One address at a time, confirmed with Enter or the plus button.
  • A pencil icon opens the Lead Generation Form editor.

The form starts with these fields.

Field Type Required
Full Name Text Yes
Email Email No
Phone number Phone Yes
Additional Notes Text No

For each field you can:

  • Rename it. Click the pencil, type the new label (1 to 50 characters) and press Enter.
  • Change its type. Pick Text, Number, Email, Phone, Date or Boolean from the dropdown. The type controls the keyboard and validation visitors get.
  • Reorder it. Drag the handle on the left.
  • Delete it. Click the red bin. At least one field must remain.

Add Additional Field appends a new text field named “New Field” that you can then rename. Press Save to keep the form, or close the editor to discard changes.

Each toggle appends one query parameter to the CTA URL when the visitor clicks through, so your booking page can read what the calculator recommended.

Toggle Parameter added Value
Include unit quantity cm-qty Number of units recommended
Include unit ID cm-id Identifier of the recommended unit
Include unit volume cm-volume Total volume of the recommended unit
Include unit used space cm-used-volume Volume taken up by the visitor’s items
Include recommendations cm-recommendations Recommended units as quantity and name pairs, for example 1.Small Unit,4.Large Unit

The Example URL box shows what the final link will look like with your current settings. The copy button next to it copies the example so you can hand it to whoever builds your booking page.

Individual items can also add their own quantity to the URL. That is set per item inside a preset. See Presets.

CTA Label. The text on the call-to-action button. Up to 12 characters. The default is “Reserve Now”. A counter under the field shows how many characters you have used.

CTA Open. Where the call-to-action link opens.
