Upgrade from Calcumate (original) to Calcumate3D

If you already pay for a Calcumate (original) plan, don’t buy Calcumate3D separately: upgrade instead. Your Calcumate3D subscription keeps the same number of locations, billing interval and currency, and unused Calcumate (original) time is credited. Your Calcumate (original) plan becomes part of the Calcumate3D subscription, and your Calcumate (original) calculators keep working.

Go to My Account → Calcumate3D. The panel says “Not subscribed. Upgrade your Calcumate (original) plan to Calcumate3D and keep the same N locations, billing interval and currency. Unused time is credited.” Click Upgrade to 3D .

If you pay for Calcumate (original) and open 3D Billing or the sign-up onboarding instead, you see “Upgrade your Calcumate (original) plan to Calcumate3D” and an Upgrade from My Account button where the plan picker would normally be.

You can upgrade if you pay for a Calcumate (original) plan, Calcumate3D is available for your service type, and you don’t have a Calcumate3D subscription yet. Plans still in their free trial can be upgraded too.

If you can’t upgrade, the panel tells you why:

Reason Message
Calcumate3D isn’t offered for your service type (for example, Kiosks) “Calcumate3D isn’t available for your plan’s vertical yet. Contact support.”
Your service type isn’t set up for Calcumate3D yet “Calcumate3D isn’t configured for your plan’s vertical yet. Contact support and we’ll set it up.”
You have an unpaid or overdue invoice “Pay your outstanding Calcumate (original) invoice first, then you can upgrade.”
A recent plan change is still being billed “A recent plan change is still being billed. Try again after your next renewal.”
Your trial ends in less than an hour “Your trial ends in less than an hour. You can upgrade once it has renewed.”

If you’re on the free plan, the panel shows the normal subscribe option instead. See Sign up for Calcumate3D.

The confirmation dialog shows:

  • Plan: service type · locations · billing interval · currency.
  • Credit for unused Calcumate (original) time and Due today, followed by “Then every month/year, starting today.”
  • Payment method: the card on file. If you have none, it says “No payment method on file. You’ll add a card on the next screen.”
  • A checkbox, Copy my Calcumate (original) calculators into 3D after the upgrade (recommended), ticked by default. See Copy your Calcumate (original) calculators into Calcumate3D.

Click Upgrade now.

During a free trial, the dialog instead says “Your free trial continues until . Nothing is charged today.” and “From : + tax every …”. Your Calcumate3D subscription then starts as a trial too.

If your Calcumate (original) plan changed while the dialog was open, the amounts are reloaded and you’re asked to review them again.

What happens What you see
Upgrade complete A success message with Done
Still being processed “Finishing your upgrade…”. The page updates on its own.
Your bank asks you to verify the payment Stripe’s verification opens. If you leave before finishing, My Account later offers Finish verification and Cancel upgrade.
No card on file Stripe’s card form opens in a new tab. Cancel upgrade stays available while it’s open. If you cancel in Stripe: “Your card was not saved. Click Upgrade now to try again, or cancel the upgrade.”
Still running after about a minute “Still processing” with Check again. The upgrade finishes on its own.
Failed “Your last upgrade attempt was declined / not completed / failed. Your Calcumate (original) plan is unchanged.” You can try again.

Cancel upgrade abandons an attempt that hasn’t finished yet, for example while bank verification or the card form is still open. You then see “Upgrade cancelled. Your Calcumate (original) plan is unchanged.”

  • Click Done and My Account updates. Your Calcumate (original) plan panel now reads “Included in Calcumate3D. Your Calcumate (original) plan is now part of your Calcumate3D subscription. Your Calcumate (original) calculators keep working with full access.”
  • The Calcumate (original) My subscription pages can no longer change your plan. They show a notice with buttons to Calcumate3D billing, Payment method and back to My Account. You can still update your card.
  • On 3D Billing your plan is locked: “Your plan matches your previous Calcumate (original) plan. Contact support to change it.”
  • If you left the copy checkbox ticked, your Calcumate (original) calculators are copied into Calcumate3D automatically.
